Student Member Information
A student member is anyone interested in promoting high ethical standards in the Gemstone and Jewelry Industry who is currently enrolled in courses related to the Gemstone or Jewelry Industry. JEA membership is open to all students studying gem or jewelry related subjects and who are not involved in selling/providing goods or services related to the Gemstone or Jewelry Industry.
A member can be registered as a student member for a period of up to two years. At that time student membership can be upgraded to industry membership provided you are actively working in a gem or jewelry trade related occupation or business.
As we grow and expand, so will member benefits. Current Student Member benefits include:
- JEA Website Student Listing
- Bi-weekly newsletter
- Offers and discounts from our Industry members.
- 10% discount on wholesale prices with the North American Gemological Laboratory.
- $25.00 discount on resolution/mediation services with JEA
- Student member seal to display on websites, blogs, forums, email and printed materials.
JEA student members agree to the following:
- Follow the FTC Guides
- Follow the JEA Code of Ethics
- Registering for Membership is an Agreement to the Above in Whole and in Part
JEA membership dues are paid annually on the anniversary of your registration date. You will receive an invoice 30 days prior to that date with renewal information. JEA student membership dues are as follows:
- $29.95 per year
