Industry Member Information

An industry member is anyone that provides goods and/or services related to the gemstone and jewelry industry or is actively working in a gem or jewelry related occupation or business. JEA membership is open to all areas of the gemstone and jewelry industry including but not limited to:

  • Jewelry Retailers and Wholesalers
  • Loose Stone Retailers and Wholesalers
  • Rough Retailers and Wholesalers
  • Lapidary Services
  • Appraisers
  • Gemologists
  • Jewelry and Supply Manufacturers
  • Education and Training
  • Journalism
  • Mining

As we grow and expand, so will member benefits. Current member benefits include:

JEA members agree to the following:

  • Follow the FTC Guides
  • Follow the JEA Code of Ethics
  • Allow the JEA to mediate complaints filed with the JEA
  • The findings of the JEA are final
  • Each of your business locations will be listed
  • Registering for membership is an agreement to the above in whole and in part

JEA membership dues are paid annually on the anniversary of your registration date. You will receive an invoice 30 days prior to that date with renewal information. JEA introductory membership dues are as follows:

  • $100.00 per year

After filling out the registration form and clicking the submit button, you will be taken to the payment page.
Once we receive your registration and payment, your information will be reviewed. The review process may take up to 25 days. Once we have reviewed your information and confirmed that you are in compliance with the JEA Code of Ethics and the FTC Guides, you will be added to the member locator and receive your member packet and JEA seals.
