The 2012 Gemstone Industry and Laboratory Conference is scheduled for Monday, January 30th at the Marriott University Park Tucson. Though the details have not yet been announced, you can expect great information, interesting discussion and a great lunch organized by Barbara Wheat Executive Director of ICA.

Last year the cost to attend was $50.00, and required signing a confidentiality agreement. We expect it will be the same again this year.

GILC information and registration have not yet been posted to the ICA website, however, JEA Industry members wishing to attend may email us the following information:

• First and last name
• Company name
• Description (wholesaler, retailer, appraiser, etc.)
• Email address

We will be forwarding a list of attendees to Barbara for inclusion in the conference.

New York, NY - November 2, 2011 The Gemstone Industry & Laboratory Conference (GILC) has announced speakers for the 2012 meeting in Tucson.

Participants in GILC are gemstone traders, laboratory experts, jewelry manufacturers and major retailers who are active in the international gemstone community and dedicated to discussing relevant industry issues and in creating common disclosure language for all levels of the trade.

The Gemstone Industry & Laboratory Conference will be held January 30, 2012. The meeting is organized by the International Colored Gemstone Association, co-organized by the American Gem Trade Association.

GILC is an invitation-only event.
