Thanks so much Sherman and Lisa, love and support from dear friends is what is keeping us going. They are both coming along well so everyday it gets a little easier.

As Sherman has said, you are all in our thoughts. Do please keep us updated as your time permits. I am sure all of your focus and energy are well spent on them.
It would be nice if we all lived closer to our "internet family" so we could offer "real help and support".

Your support feels real and is much appreciated. Ruby is getting stronger everyday and as much as it is difficult not having her at home we are able to visit often and holding her is wonderful. Ok couldn't resist Ruby is 14,200cts. As the rest of the world sees it she is 6lbs 4.17 oz our way is more fun.

Thank you Pam we are thrilled and she is doing so well. Life is starting to feel "normal" again. When she was in the hospital only the parents and grandparents could visit and only one at a time so that was tricky to coordinate "Ruby time" My husband and I are night owls so we would go the late shift and help tuck her in for the night and the other grandparents took the morning. Now that she is home she has finally gotten to meet her Aunt and Uncle. Our son and daughter could not wait to hold their little sister's beautiful gem. Life is good.
I will post a picture as soon as I have a minute to size it properly right now all I have are too big for the forum.

Here is our little Ruby sleeping like a baby I think she is as happy to be home as we are to have her there. Thanks to all for the well wishes and concern.
